Come Find Me This Fall — a Bookstore, a New Video & More

The studio has been buzzing! A whole season of markets is lined up through November, my work is heading to its first bookstore, and there's a new video to watch. Here's everything at once.

Six places over the next few months where you can see (and hold!) everything in person — I'd love to say hi:

  The Brewtorium · 6015 Dillard Cir, Austin · 12pm–4pm
  Handmade, vintage & local — my first time here! Find me indoors with up-cycled totes and bags, plus greeting cards and notepads.
• Sat, Aug 8 — Vendor Spotlight
  Violette Bakehouse · 2901 Medical Arts Street, Austin · 9am–6pm
  A solo vending spotlight — just me! I'll have my sewn items, tiny art, notepads, stickers and bookmarks. Come visit over French pastries and coffee.
• Sat, Aug 22 — Bluebonnet Craft Expo
  Wanderlust Wine Co · 1601 Barton Springs Rd, Austin · 4pm–8pm
  "Vinyl & Vino" — an evening market with vintage finds, local makers and a vinyl DJ. Come have a glass and browse my paper goods and pouches.
• Sun, Aug 23 — ACR Summer Sundays
  Austin Creative Reuse · 2005 Wheless Ln, Austin · 12pm–3pm
  "Get Out the Vote" under the shaded portico with my fellow up-cyclers — up-cycled totes, bags and collage greeting cards.

  Cosmic Coffee · 121 Pickle Rd, Austin · 10am–2pm
  Books, coffee & a beer garden — local authors, plants, art and all ages. I'll have book-themed art and my usual stationery.
• Fri, Nov 13 — TAEA Multiverse Artisan Market
  Moody Gardens · Galveston, TX · 7:30pm–9:30pm
  A special evening market for art educators at the TAEA conference (this year's theme: Artistic Intelligence). If you're at the conference, swing by!

📚 Coming soon at Lark & Owl

Some big news for the shop — my work is heading to Lark & Owl Booksellers in Georgetown! They'll be carrying a selection of my notepads, greeting cards, and sewn items. If you find yourself up in Georgetown, pop into this wonderful independent bookstore and look for my little corner — I'm so honored to be chosen as a vendor.

🧵 From the worktable

I dug into a single pile of upholstery wool samples this week — a bunch of different colorways that just happened to match up beautifully — and turned them into a fresh batch of zippered pouches and book sleeves. I love giving these sample cuts a second life, and because that's exactly what they are, every single piece is genuinely one-of-a-kind. I filmed the whole make-with-me too, so keep an eye out for that video soon!
