Full Stop! Let's Re-evaluate
This past weekend I had a family emergency so I was unable to participate in my Sunday event. This did give me the time and space to really dive into the numbers. I looked at how my business has been doing through the different sales avenues. For in person events I am running negative. Not by a big amount, just by enough to make me reconsider doing them at all. There are some events that I do really well at, like school centered events. Then the big wins are the sales at the Lark & Owl and my direct person-to-person commissions/purchases. I will continue some events during the holiday season so that I can get a fuller picture and give all locations a fair chance but I will definitely be reducing the number of events that I attend from January to August.
🧵 From the Worktable
Jo and I are still working on printing the recent order from the Lark & Owl. I am also working on new totes and zippered pouches. I am trying to get as many cute or funny sayings embroidered on patches so that I can add them to my different products. I hope to get in another decluttering by processing products. Maybe I can use up one whole roll of fabric!

Sat, Oct 17 — Old Fashion Fall Festival & Market Days @ Manor United Methodist
This promises to be a fun one. Lots of games and food along with artisans like myself. Come out and visit us if you're in the area. I will be indoors. -
Sat, Oct 24 — Manor New Tech Highschool Colosseum
This is my first time at the local high school so I am so excited for this one. It will be an outdoor tent event so I will have all of my products out. -
Fri, Nov 6 — Hot Girls Read @ Ani's Day & Night
This is my first vendor event at Ani's and at night. I will be bringing fairy lights and book lights in order to show off my products. -
Fri, Nov 13 — TAEA Conference, Multiverse Artisan Market
A special evening market for art educators. -
Sat, Nov 21 — Holidays at the Homestead
Christmas Market at the Mason Heritage Homestead. Come out to check out my gift bundles for the season! -
Sat–Sun, Nov 28–29 — Big Ole Queer Market - Holiday Villains 2026
