Mini Watercolor Kits & a Possible New Consignment
This past week I thought I was going to be able to lock in and churn out some products... I was mistaken. After processing all of the flower images I was pretty much done. I concentrated on family and planning for the weekend's events. I will be taking the day off of work to visit Georgetown and drop off products at the Lark & Owl. While I'm up there I will also be applying as a vendor at Handcrafts Unlimited! If they approve my application I will also be dropping off some products there!

This week I created a brand new product: Mini Watercolor Kits! I purchased some paintbrushes, plastic palettes, and watercolor paper in bulk. Then I purchased Winsor & Newton watercolor paint tubes and added a drop of each of the six colors into the different wells in the palettes. After the paint dried I added an instruction card and stapled a label to the top. I first made five kits to try them out at my events. Well, four sold to one person! So I spent last night setting up the remaining 45 palettes to dry. Jo helped me out with their baking rack. I am so happy that I have a perfect little gift set going into the holiday season. Next up, zippered pouches!

This will be a 10th anniversary party for The Yard, so it should be exciting. Hope to see you guys out there! -
Fri, Nov 13 — TAEA Conference, Multiverse Artisan Market
A special evening market for art educators. This is my first vendor event at a conference. I am so excited to see how my products are received. -
