No Mess Decluttering, Events, and a Clothing Swap
Three weeks without A/C and still making! A whole season of markets (including a clothing swap), my work now officially on the shelves at Lark & Owl, and a new studio-declutter video on the way.
The studio has been oh so very hot — we're three weeks into living without A/C in the Texas heat! But there's a whole season of markets lined up where you can see (and hold!) everything in person — the greeting cards, notepads, upcycled totes and pouches, and a few new things I can't wait to show you. A solo vending spotlight — just me! I'll have my sewn items, tiny art, notepads, stickers and bookmarks. Come visit over French pastries and coffee. -

We're trying something new: a clothing swap! Bring some gently used and washed clothing (no intimates, please) and swap them out for new finds. -

An indoor "Sip + Shop" at the Domain — local makers, art, jewelry, food, games and live music. -
Sat, Aug 22 — Bluebonnet Craft Expo
"Vinyl & Vino" — an evening market with vintage finds, local makers and a vinyl DJ. Come have a glass and browse my paper goods and pouches. -
Sun, Aug 23 — ACR Summer Sundays
"Get Out the Vote" under the shaded portico with my fellow up-cyclers — up-cycled totes, bags and collage greeting cards. -
Sun, Sep 27 — ATX Book Fair
Books, coffee & a beer garden — local authors, plants, art and all ages. I'll have book-themed art and my usual stationery. -

📚 Officially at Lark & Owl
Some big news for the shop — my work is now at Lark & Owl Booksellers in Georgetown! They now carry a selection of my notepads, greeting cards, and sewn items. If you find yourself up in Georgetown, pop into this wonderful independent bookstore and look for my little products — I'm so honored to be chosen as a vendor.

🧵 From the worktable
13 totes are cut and ready to be put together. I'm hoping to get at least three finished before this weekend so I have fresh ones on hand for my two events — fingers crossed the sewing machine and I cooperate. My A/C is still not working, so I'm only able to work for about an hour before heading off to work each morning.
I still haven't dropped the video where I processed the wool samples into new book sleeves and zippered pouches, because apparently I recorded three hours of footage! I'll try to get it up soon. But don't worry — I'll still be dropping a new "No Mess Decluttering" video on Saturday. This time I want to go through the items under my sewing table. Let's see how much I get through. Wish me luck!
